Godzilla Asian American Arts Network : ウィキペディア英語版 | Godzilla Asian American Arts Network
Godzilla Asian American Arts Network was an arts collective and support network started in 1990 for Asian Americans. Founded on the premise that they did not have a suitable organization to promote, support and encourage their visual arts, Godzilla's founding members sought to fill this void.〔(Chang, Alexandra. ''Envisioning Diaspora: Asian American Visual Arts Collectives''. Timezone 8: Hong Kong, 2009. )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Godzilla Asian American Arts Network Archive )〕Godzilla provided artists, curators and art historians with leadership training for its membership. The collective provided visibility in local and national exhibitions, developed press out-reach, published a newsletter, and held monthly meetings.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Survey: Godzilla, Asian American Art Network )〕Members included Arlan Huang, Karin Higa, Ken Chu, Margo Machida, Bing Lee among others. Writer Alexandra Chang cites Godzilla's sister organizations for Asian Arts include the Basement Workshop, Godzookie and the Barnstormers in her book, "Envisioning Diaspora, Asian American Visual Arts Collective." ==External links==
